PADI Tec Trimix Instructor Course Prices (Bali, Indonesia)
For divers already PADI Tec Trimix certified or for divers already holding a Trimix diving certification (equivalent to PADI Tec Trimix) from a different tec agency the Tec Trimix Instructor course costs US$1,500 and takes 7-8 days.
For divers not yet Trimix certified the Tec Trimix Instructor course (including Tec Trimix diver level course) costs US$3,500 and takes 16-18 days.
For Trimix Instructors from other agencies the PADI Tec Trimix Instructor course costs US$1,500 and takes 7-8 days.
PADI Tec Trimix Instructor Course entry requirements
- Be a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT)
- Be a PADI Tec Deep Instructor (or have completed a PADI Tec Deep Instructor training course)
- Be a PADI Tec Trimix Diver (or hold an equivalent full Trimix diving certification from another agency)
- Have logged at least 200 dives
- Have logged at least 20 staged decompression dives, 10 of which being to at least 40m using Trimix
Divers not yet Trimix certified (but already Tec Deep Instructors) can take a PADI Trimix course here at Bali Scuba, take 5 additional Trimix dives here with us, then immediately enroll on the Tec Trimix Instructor Course.
After the Tec Trimix Instructor Course is completed, but before you can send your application to PADI to be certified as a Tec Trimix Instructor you will also need to meet these additional requirements
- Have completed all requirements to be a PADI Tec Deep Instructor
- Have assisted with at least one PADI Tec Trimix Diver courses (for divers certified with a different tec agency assisting on non-DSAT Trimix course may meet this requirement)
- Have logged 350 or more dives, with at least 50 staged decompression dives beyond those required to certify as Tec Deep diver. At least 30 must be deeper than 40m using Trimix as the bottom gas, with at least 10 of these deeper than 50m using Trimix with less than 21% oxygen
- Be at least 21 years old

The only equipment you need is a wrist mounted depth gauge and timer (eg; computer in free mode), mask, fins, and wetsuit.
For Tec Trimix Instructor courses prices exclude Tec Trimix student manual (US$50), Tec Trimix Instructor guide (US$64), Tec Trimix Instructor cue cards (US$47), Tec Deep Diver exams & answer sheet (US$8), and Tec Trimix Instructor application fee (Asia Pacific area currently AU$101).
The course will run much more smoothly if you can get your manuals and complete all self-study sections before you arrive in Bali.
