PADI Tec Deep Instructor Course Prices (Bali, Indonesia)

For divers already PADI Tec Deep (or Tec 50) certified or divers already holding an equivalent technical diving certification from a different tec agency the Tec Deep Instructor course costs US$1,500 and takes 8 days.

For recreational divers with no technical diving certification or experience the PADI Tec Deep Instructor course (including Tec 40, Tec 45 and Tec 50 diver level courses) costs US$2,300 and takes 16 days.

For technical diving Instructors from other agencies the PADI Tec Deep Instructor course costs US$1,500 and takes 8 days.

PADI Tec Deep Instructor Course entry requirements

Be a PADI Instructor
Be a PADI Nitrox Instructor
Be a PADI Deep Diver Instructor
Have logged at least 20 Nitrox dives, 25 dives deeper than 18m, and 15 dives deeper than 30m (if you don’t have 20 logged Nitrox dives yet we can include them in your program for no additional charge)

Technical diving certification is not an entry requirement because the Tec Deep Diver course can be integrated into to the Tec Deep Instructor course.

After the Tec Deep Instructor Course is completed, but before you can send your application to PADI to be certified as a Tec Deep Instructor you will also need to meet these additional requirements

Be an MSDT (Master Scuba Diver Trainer)
Have assisted with at least one Tec course
Have logged 270 or more dives, with at least 25 staged decompression dives that had a max. depth of more than 40m
Have certified at least 10 PADI Deep and/or PADI Nitrox divers

For the additional 20 staged decompression dives (you'll do 5 staged decompression dives during the course) and the one DSAT Tec course assist you need to leave Bali as an up-and-running DSAT Tec Deep Instructor we charge just US$1,275. The only equipment you need are two wrist mounted depth gauges and timers (or computers in free mode), cutting tools, mask, fins, and wetsuit.

Tec Deep Instructor courses prices exclude Tec Deep student manual (US$48), Instructor guide (US$65), Instructor cue cards (US$76), Tec planning slate (US$19), Tec 40, Tec 45 and Tec 50 diver exams (US$27), and Tec Rec Instructor application fee (Asia Pacific area currently AU$114).

The Tec Deep Instructor course will run much more smoothly if you can get your manuals and complete all self-study sections before you arrive in Bali.
