Crossover to PADI

You can easily crossover to PADI if you already an Instructor in a different dive agency (BSAC, SAA, SSI, ANDI, CMAS, NAUI, IANTD, PSA, SDI, TDI, YMCA) by joining a Bali Scuba PADI Instructor course (IDC - Instructor Development Course). The first part of the IDC is the AI (Assistant Instructor) Course, which takes 5 days. The second part is OWSI (Open Water Scuba Instructor) Course, which takes 7 days.

To crossover to PADI from another agency you are required by PADI to take the OWSI at least, but it is recommended you take both AI & OWSI (we will only charge you for the OWSI). After completing OWSI you need to join the PADI IE (Instructor Exam).

You can find current price for OWSI here and dates here.  PADI have also introduced the requirement that you will need to be a PADI EFR Instructor before you are allowed to become a PADI OWSI Instructor.

If you take the complete IDC (OWSI + AI) you can also join our free-of-charge 2 days IDC preparation course to review the dive theory (physics, physiology, equipment, PADI recreational dive planner, and skills & environment) and dive skills you will be tested on in the PADI Instructor Exam.

Pass guarantee: in the unlikely event you complete the full IDC (OWSI + AI) but fail the IE immediately following the IDC, you can come back to Bali and join any IDC we have running within the next 2 years for free.
